TL;DR
- You can delete your BOBA Playbook account and all associated data at any time.
- Deletion is immediate and permanent — your card collection, decks, profile, and any avatar you uploaded are removed.
- No installation required — sign in to the web app and click Delete Account, OR email us.
- We honor every request within 30 days. In practice, the in-app button completes in seconds.
How to Delete Your Account
You have two paths. The first is faster and gives you immediate confirmation; the second is for anyone who cannot sign in or prefers email.
Delete via the web app
This works whether or not you ever installed the iOS or Android app — anything you signed up with on any platform can be deleted from the web.
- Open bobaplaybook.com in any browser.
- Click Profile in the sidebar and sign in (Apple, Discord, Google, or email).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile view.
- Click Delete Account.
- Confirm in the dialog. Your account and all associated data are wiped instantly.
Email request
If you cannot sign in (lost credentials, locked out of the account email, deceased user's family member, etc.), email us. Include enough information for us to identify and verify the account — at minimum the email address or username it was registered under.
We respond within 30 days; in practice, same-week.

When you delete your account, every record tied to your user ID is removed from our database. This is a hard delete — no soft-delete, no archival copy, no analytics dump that retains your identity.

What Does NOT Get Deleted
For transparency, these are the only things tied to a deleted account that survive — none of them identify you personally:
- Card-catalog corrections / image overrides you submitted as a moderator. The corrections themselves remain (so the catalog stays accurate for everyone), but your user ID is cleared from the record. The result is an anonymous audit trail with no link back to you.
- Anonymous aggregate page hit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics on the web app — these are cookieless visitor counts, not user-attributable, so there is nothing of yours to "delete" in the first place. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We do not retain your data for "marketing purposes," sell it, share it with affiliates, or transfer it to a third party in any other form. The above is the complete residual set.
Cancellation Window
Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recovery period. If you delete and want to come back, you can sign up again with the same email — but your previous collection, decks, and profile cannot be restored.
